Today was hard.. A bunch of family issues came up that’s really got me down.. Being the oldest I feel very responsible for everyone.. And I like it that way but sure wasn’t feeling my workout.. Finally gathered up the motivation to work out.. And sooo glad I did.. Hit my legs then did incline walking.. Talked with a friend- I guess life is better now 🙂 had some chicken and gonna sleep.. By the way chicken marinated in pickle juice is fricking amazing! No joke! Try it- you’re welcome!

Decided to carb cycle- going low carb, no carb, high carb- see how I drop- if it is isn’t fast enough of a loss I will add 1 more no carb day! Wish me luck!!

I started shopping for my bikini for competition.. Kind of overwhelming! Firstly it’s online so can’t try it on- then there is a bunch of cuts. Butterfly scrunch, sweetheart, pro booty- what!? Did I mention they are not only crazy tiny BUT expensive? Geez.. I’m going to use suitsyou to order my suit.. Not going to go all blingy- I’m going to get a color I like thinking either red or black and just something that fits well.. Philosophy is if I look good and the suit fits well all the bling doesn’t matter- if I do well in this show then I will “earn” the bikini for a bigger show 🙂 goal is to spend as little as possible but present well 🙂

I hit legs really hard and ohhh man I’m feeling it! I wish there was a massage therapist I could ask to help without it being weird! Lol- oh well- hopefully tomorrow I will be feeling better! Gotta get that bikini booty!

I can’t believe it! I’ve never had abs in my LIFE and they’re finally starting to show! I’m very proud! I thought it would never happen! Guess my hard work is paying off! 🙂

I think one of my biggest challenges is learning how to NOT live by the scale.. Funny how ONE piece of equipment can make or break my day.. I started this journey the beginning of December 2012- I wasn’t terribly overweight but I was UNHEALTHY and squishy :p- I also felt horrible! Anyway since then I’ve lost about 7 pounds- not alot considering the diet change and the amount of exercise I have put in…BUT thankfully I took pics and have them to compare because I look so different! I have definition- my body is more compact- I’ve put on lots of lean muscle- so while the scale is not going down alot I’m looking much more lean! So I need to take a deep breath and put the scale away! Once a week weigh ins and comparison pics should be all I’m doing! Anyway- time for some Cardio and tonight chest- it’s a beautiful day in WI!

Leg day and shoulders! Worked so hard today! Did it sprint interval workout with my little guy this morning! We had fun racing each other up the ramp! Course he won 🙂 oh also fought crime today- cops came and asked if a guy had passed they were looking for and we did! So told them where he went… After the sprint fueled up and then hit the gym for some serious push! I am friggin beat! No joke- have a great day all!
